Hawke's Bay Mountain Bike Club

This trip is exclusively for members of the Hawke’s Bay Mountain Bike Club.
No wristbands will be given out to late comers. So pick up your wristbands prior if you think you might be late.
Prior pick up of wristbands is Tuesday 22 Oct, 5.15pm-5.45pm from My Ride Taradale or Wednesday 23 Oct, 5.15pm-5.45pm from My Ride Hastings (club representative will be at both locations during these times).
On the day wristband pick up will be outside Secret Spot Hot Tubs at the Waipa Mountain Bike Carpark between 8.30am – 8.45am on Friday 25th October (club representative will be there to give out wristbands).
Please put the phone number for the First Response Unit into your phone. 0800WHAKA1 (0800942521) They are the medics who will be first on the scene should you require medical attention.
Shuttles may arrive at Waipa and Tawa before 9am. We can self-load our bikes during this time, but shuttle doors may not be open for us to get seated until 9am.
There are no on the day signups.
All shuttles are shared with the public all day.

The special HBMTB $35 pass is valid 9am – 3pm on Friday 25th October 2024. Beyond 3pm you will need the standard Mountain Bike Rotorua pass (Hill Road).
Shuttles leaving Waipa will be filled on first in first served basis for the first uplift of the day. Remaining people on the Waipa side will need to ride into the shuttle turnaround area at the corner of Hill and Pipeline roads. Parking at Planet Bike is the fastest way to ride in. Or drive around to the Tawa shuttle if you don't want to ride in.
If you start from Tawa, it is recommended you pick up your wrist band prior.
There are no refunds if you change your mind or simply can't make it.
